When you download Brickverse, Windows SmartScreen may show a warning saying it doesn't recognize the app. This does not mean the file is dangerous. It happens because Brickverse is a new, independent app that hasn't been downloaded by millions of people yet — Microsoft flags any new app until it builds up a download history.

Brickverse is fully open source — you can inspect every line of code on GitHub. There is nothing hidden or harmful in the installer.
